NON-STANDARD TAXES

Our prices do not include VAT, GST or other national taxes outside the European Union countries.

For international customers who are required to pay customs, you will receive an email from GFS Gateway, First Mile or your local customs authorities requesting payment for processing your order through customs. Unfortunately, there is no legal way to bypass customs. Once payment has been made to the customs broker, your order will be processed for final delivery.
Due to the dimensions of the package you will pay import duties and taxes. The amount of taxes depends on the regulations in your country, usually around 30-60 USD. BIRDYWING is not responsible for these. 

International patent

The Wooden World Map is protected by international patent and copyright. By copying the product you commit copyright infringement and face serious legal problems.

We hope you will love every product we send you. But sometimes life happens and plans change, we understand.

We accept returns and exchanges on products that are not personalised, not made to order and not cleared within 30 days of receiving the package. 

TO RETURN/EXCHANGE YOUR ORDER: all products must be in new condition and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any shipping costs for items sent back in exchange.

We do NOT accept returns or exchanges of personalised, custom-made or customs-cleared products. 

EXCHANGES: If we have made an incorrect personalisation in your order, we will be happy to send you a replacement personalised item. We do not exchange items that have been incorrectly engraved because we have received an incorrect photo/text from you. 

Return in case of force majeure.

Please note! We refund the cost of the products, but shipping costs will be charged to the price of the product if:

The customer was not available during the delivery process
The customer has provided an incorrect telephone number and/or e-mail address

If the item was used by post for the same reason, we are not responsible for the costs. If the customer refuses to accept the delivery without stating a reason, the package will be used and we will not be responsible for the costs.

Product replacement (e.g. change of color, size, etc.)

TO RETURN/EXCHANGE your order: all items must be in new condition and original packaging. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and any shipping costs for the items that were sent in exchange.

We do NOT accept returns or exchanges on personalized, custom made or clearance items. 

  1. Pursuant to the Act of May 30, 2014 on consumer rights, in force from December 25, 2014, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason.
  2. The time for informing the Seller by the Buyer about the intention to withdraw from the contract is 14 calendar days from the moment of receipt / purchase of the goods. During this time, the Buyer is obliged to send an exchange statement to the Seller’s e-mail address or by post or together with the goods. 
  3. From the date of sending the declaration of withdrawal from the contract, the Buyer has a further 14 calendar days to return the goods.
  4. The buyer is responsible for reducing the value of the item as a result of using it in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item.
  5. The buyer / consumer bears the direct costs of replacing the goods

Remember that we do not accept parcels sent to us by cash on delivery, e-shipment or parcel machines. The cost of returning the returned product is borne by the buyer.

  1. 3. Wait for a new product, refund of the difference or additional payment

    The replacement product will be shipped to the original order address upon receipt of the replacement product return.

    Refund of the difference in payment
    In the case of payments made by Przelewy24 and PayPal, the difference in payment will be made to the account number from which the payment for the order was made. In the case of payment on delivery, to the account number indicated in the form. 

    Additional payment for the order
    After calculating the difference to be paid, the additional payment should be made to our bank account number before the shipment of the new product. In order to expedite the exchange procedure, please send us a payment confirmation.

Return the products (withdrawal from the contract)

We accept returns and exchanges on items that are not personalized, not custom made, and not on clearance within 14 days after you received the package.

Pursuant to the Act of May 30, 2014 on consumer rights, in force from December 25, 2014, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason.

3. Wait for the decision on the complaint

If you decide to:
replace – we will immediately pick up and send a new product.
repair – we will pick up and send the repaired product immediately.
return – after accepting your complaint, the refund will be made immediately, no later than 14 days from the date of receipt of the product in the warehouse. The refund will be made within a maximum of 14 days from the date of receipt of the product in stock. The reimbursement of transaction costs is made: in the case of payment methods: PayU, Przelewy24 and PayPal – to the account number from which the payment for the order was made. In the case of payment on delivery, to the account number indicated in the form.
